💡 In simple words: We are opening a place to tell WikiDeal's story. We say what is broken in today's trade — and, above all, how to fix it.
🎯 In 20 seconds (scientific summary): Founding article of the WikiDeal Blog: why this news portal exists, and the editorial line it follows.

Trade runs the world. So who gets to question how it works?
Today we open the WikiDeal Blog — the project's news portal, and the antechamber of a social network with one job: to look hard at the culture of trade and marketplaces, and to come back with solutions. Not complaints. Solutions.
A few first guidelines and policies
This blog stands on the WikiDeal rules of the game. Here are a few first guidelines and policies that shape everything we publish.
We can criticise anything — not just proposals. Bad deals, harmful practices, whatever needs calling out: we can name it, and we can even raise the alarm. But always while staying measured, sourced and reliable — and always paired with proposals: improvements, restructuring, the adoption of new political cultures, or changes in management criteria. Criticism without a way forward is just noise; we don't do noise.
We don't reinvent the wheel. Forget "I have a brand-new idea". Our first question is better: "what already works somewhere — and how do we adapt it here?"
Plugged into the Observatories
The blog does not float on its own. Step by step, it connects to WikiDeal's Observatories (the Watch services) — the places where the community tracks what marketplaces really do, so our news rests on observation, not opinion.
What's coming
This first post sets the editorial line. The next ones dig into the real questions:
- commissions and pricing — who pays what, and why;
- the culture of agreements: compensatory measures, verification methods, the culture of reviews and ratings;
- the hidden side of trade — the practices nobody shows you;
- good practices to amplify, bad ones to replace, and the substitution paths to get there;
- field experiments already working in one region that could be deployed elsewhere.
Always through one lens: the long tail — networking the small players of a field — and one promise: Fair Deals for Nice People.
At first, most posts will come from the team. Gradually, other voices will join in. Welcome aboard.
