Propose an Open Call

Anyone can propose to animate and launch a new Open Call. WikiDeal's ecosystem relies on decentralized initiative: the central Steering Committee does not need to invent every call. If you or your group have identified a specific need or challenge and are ready to manage the process, you can submit a proposal.

The Process

Draft your proposal: Create a page or a discussion post outlining your Open Call idea.
Answer the mandatory questions: Ensure your proposal covers all the points listed below.
Submit for approval: The proposal is submitted to the Steering Committee.
Green Light: The Steering Committee reviews the proposal. Once approved, the call's status changes from "Under study/Draft" to "Launched".

Mandatory Questions to Answer

When proposing a new Open Call, you must provide clear, evidence-based answers to the following questions:

Domain Expertise: What are the evidence-based proofs (Evidence-Based Proof) that you or your group already have expertise in the specific domain of this call?
Call Engineering: What evidence shows that you have participated in and understood the engineering and lifecycle of open calls?
Team Roles: Who do you propose as the Facilitator? Who will be the Chairperson? Who will be the members of the Commission?
Planning and Timeline: What is the detailed schedule for the call (design, launch, evaluation, implementation)?
Budget and Rewards: What is the intended budget in cash and/or Rewards? Are you seeking funding from the Steering Committee, or is this call purely driven by the Gift Economy?
Expected Impact: What specific problem does this call solve for the WikiDeal ecosystem or its specific marketplace?

Steering Committee Approval

The Steering Committee may assist in preparing the call, but it ultimately holds the authority to give the "green light". Once approved, the call is officially integrated into the Open Call tables with the status Launched.
