What this section holds

User guides that help people carry a contract through to success: from daring to ask, to signing well, to closing without loose ends. WikiDeal tutorials aim at three qualities at once:

  • Educational: after the tutorial, the user can actually do the thing, not just nod.
  • Funny: humor lowers the shame threshold around money, commitments and saying no.
  • Spectacular: pattern-breaking, artistic, punchy. A tutorial people share is worth ten they merely tolerate.

Formats

  • Short videos (around 90 seconds): one situation, one mistake, one fix.
  • Comic strips: the awkward moment, drawn, with the better line to say.
  • Checklists: before signing, before reminding, before closing.
  • Quizzes: "what would you answer?", with the contract clause revealed after.
  • Real-life sketches: staged scenes of the conversations everyone dreads, played twice: the disaster version, then the contract version.

What a good tutorial does

  1. Starts from a real, recognizable situation (not from the platform's features).
  2. Shows the cost of the informal way: the misunderstanding, the resentment, the lost friendship.
  3. Shows the same scene with a light written agreement, and how the hard conversation becomes easy.
  4. Ends with exactly one thing to do next.
  5. References its sources: the relevant clause, the legal reference, the statistic that proves the point.

The tutorial sub-community

Tutorial makers (writers, illustrators, video makers, comedians) form a sub-community within each market. This sub-community is intended to organize its own open calls to attract more effective, faster, funnier, more artistic and more dynamic illustrations of the market's contracts.
