This observatory is under construction and not yet active. It is part of the WikiDeal observatories: citizen-run, participatory and volunteer-based.
The Online Community Moderation observatory is intended to watch moderation practices across online communities: rules, tools, karma and reputation systems, and their successes and failures, as learning material for WikiDeal's own moderation choices. The karma model WikiDeal intends to follow is documented on the Participatory Observatories innovation page.
