馃挕 In simple words: You can ask your questions about WikiDeal with the help of an AI. Your questions are kept and made anonymous, and everyone can read them later. A special service then fishes out the good ideas the AI missed (the pearls) and shows which subjects people ask about most (the trends).

馃幆 In 20 seconds (scientific summary): WikiDeal intends to let participants use AI to ask their questions. Each question would be neutralized (personal details removed, wording made neutral) and conserved, with a link giving access to the contributions, the discussions and the AI answers, so that they can always be analysed. A retrieval service ("rep锚chage") would then review this corpus and produce two outputs: the pearls, good proposals that were wrongly judged by the AI and deserve a second look, and the trends, statistics on the most-treated subjects. This is an initial hypothesis, proposed as a basis for discussion.

Participants can use AI to ask their questions about WikiDeal: how the platform works, the contracts, the funding, the governance, and so on. The AI provides first answers, available at any time.

Neutralization and conservation

These questions are the object of a neutralization and a conservation:

  • Neutralization: personal details are removed and the wording is made neutral, so that the question can be published without exposing the person who asked it.
  • Conservation: the questions are kept, with a link giving access to the contributions, the discussions and the answers of the AIs, so that they can always be analysed, by anyone, at any time.

This follows the same spirit as WikiDeal's AI transparency rule: what the AI says and how it is used remains open and auditable.

The retrieval service: pearls and trends

On top of this conserved corpus, a retrieval service ("rep锚chage") is envisaged, with two outputs:

  • The pearls 馃Κ: what was missed. Good proposals that were wrongly judged by the AI and deserve a second look. Human review fishes them back out of the corpus, so that a valuable idea is never lost just because an AI misjudged it.
  • The trends 馃搳: the percentages of subjects that are heavily treated, and similar statistics. They show what the community asks about most, and can inform priorities.

This is what would be used and analysed over time; the exact mechanisms are still to be defined.
