💡 In simple words: Anyone can suggest an idea for WikiDeal. You make a free account, write your idea on the Discussion page, and then you can raise your hand to ask others to look at it and give feedback. It is open to everyone.

⚠️ Not yet approved. This page describes a proposal that is still under community review. It is documented here so it can be discussed, improved and endorsed.

Request for Feedback (RFF)

How to submit a proposal to any Open Call, and draw attention to get feedback — open to all

Every Open Call uses the same simple, open mechanism. You do not need to email anyone. The process is:

1. Create a login

Create a free account on WikiDeal and log in. That is all that is required to take part.

2. Post your proposal in the Discussion tab

Go to the Discussion (Talk) tab of the Open Call page that interests you, and post your proposal there. Say clearly: "I propose the following…" — and add your ideas and any links (for example a link to an HTML snapshot of an architecture proposal).

3. Raise a Request for Feedback (RFF)

Once your proposal is posted, you can raise a Request for Feedback to draw attention to it and obtain comments from the community. This is the mechanism that lets any contributor say: "here is my proposal — please look at it and give me feedback."

A Request for Feedback should include:

  • a short title for the proposal;
  • the Open Call it relates to;
  • a one-line summary of what you propose;
  • the link to where you posted it (the Discussion tab, or an external HTML snapshot);
  • what kind of feedback you are looking for.

Open to all

This mechanism is open to everyone. Anyone with a login can submit a proposal and raise a Request for Feedback, on any Open Call page. It is the standard, transparent way to bring ideas forward, attract attention, and get community feedback.
