💡 In simple words: This page explains who is allowed to change which pages, and how you can ask for more rights.

🎯 In 20 seconds (scientific summary): This page defines the access-rights policy of the platform: which spaces are editable by whom, and the lightweight process to obtain administrator rights.

This policy is a working hypothesis. Like everything else on this site, these rules can evolve based on proposals from users.

Who can edit what

  • Governance space (the « Gov » pages): editable by administrators only (validated / semi-protected), to keep the framework stable.
  • Marketplaces: open to everyone with an account — no administrator rights needed. You can post as long as you have an account. It is not anonymous, but a pseudonym is allowed.
  • Talk / discussion pages: open to all, so anyone can share opinions and propose changes.

How to request administrator rights

  • Present yourself on your profile page, with a few useful links to your past contributions (to the commons, wiki culture, free/open licences, governance or complex/digital projects).
  • Criteria are very flexible at this early stage — it is very open and there is little risk of being refused. We simply want to know who is who: the administrators who help governance evolve are identified (not anonymous), but obtaining rights is easy.
  • To request: send an email to team@wikideal.net. You will then be added to a Telegram group where key points are discussed. You can also discuss directly on the talk page of any page.

A standing invitation

"Feel free to share your opinion — propose changes or request administrator rights."

This page is a working hypothesis and is expected to evolve based on proposals from users.
