馃挕 In simple words: We are looking for ideas on how to build the group that will check if the lawyers who sign our contracts are doing a good job and being fair with their prices.

馃幆 In 20 seconds (scientific summary): This Wave 2 Open Call seeks proposals for structuring the future Validation & Endorsement Institution. We need comprehensive models for managing "endorsements": defining the conditions of engagement, granular endorsement levels (by jurist, by lawyer, with associated legal services or legal insurance), and the auditing of lawyers' commitments (legitimacy, reactivity, acceptable rates).

Open Call: Structuring the Endorsement Institution

Context

The WikiDeal ecosystem relies on Peer Endorsement, where qualified lawyers take editorial responsibility for contract templates. To ensure this system remains reliable, transparent, and fair, WikiDeal needs an independent body: the Validation & Endorsement Institution.

Because this institution is currently to be created, this Open Call invites the community, legal experts, and governance designers to propose structural models and operational guidelines.

What we are looking for

Proposals should cover the conditions of endorsement from all angles:

  • Proposing a Model: How should the institution be governed and operated? Who sits on the audit committee?
  • Granular Endorsement: Defining clear levels of endorsement (e.g., endorsed by a jurist, endorsed by a certified lawyer, endorsed with associated lawyer services, or backed by legal insurance).
  • Auditing Commitments: Mechanisms to verify that endorsing lawyers remain engaged. This includes checking their legitimacy, their reactivity, and ensuring they offer acceptable rates for any additional services requested by users.

How to contribute

If you have ideas, models, or feedback to share, please post your proposal on the Discussion tab of this page.
