💡 In simple words: Computer programmers can join WikiDeal and help build it. This page tells coders what skills are useful and how to sign up to help.

Join the Development Team

Build the infrastructure of cooperative e-commerce. WikiDeal is fully libre-licensed (AGPL v3). We are looking for developers passionate about decentralized systems, smart contracts without blockchain, MediaWiki extensions, and transparent AI integration.

Skills and areas of interest

  • Frontend (Vue, React, Tailwind)
  • Backend (PHP, Laravel, Python)
  • MediaWiki architecture and extensions
  • AI / LLM integration
  • Mobile (Flutter, React Native)
  • DevOps / CI-CD

How to apply

Tell us what you would like to build for WikiDeal and your availability, which can range from a few volunteer hours per week to full-time work supported by a grant or occasional libre-licensed contributions. Applications are submitted through the WikiDeal onboarding form once you are logged into your account.
