Validation & Endorsement — WikiDeal governance.

This page describes how content and actors are validated and endorsed within the WikiDeal ecosystem.

The Endorsement Institution

One of the core missions of the future Validation & Endorsement Institution (which is to be created and does not exist yet) is to audit the commitments made by lawyers who "endorse" a contract.

The institution will be responsible for verifying that these endorsing professionals are properly committed. This includes auditing:

  • Legitimacy: Ensuring the lawyers have the proper qualifications and standing.
  • Reactivity: Monitoring that they respond to community or user needs in a timely manner.
  • Acceptable Rates: Checking that the pricing for any additional services sold to users (if requested) remains fair, transparent, and acceptable.

Because this institution is yet to be built, a dedicated Open Call has been launched to help structure it: see Open Call: Structuring the Endorsement Institution.
